Rain Cancels Game at San Diego State

SAN DIEGO -- Due to the heavy rains in the San Diego area yesterday, St. John's softball's midweek matchup against San Diego State on Tuesday evening has been cancelled and will not be made up.
The Red Storm (7-7) ends it west coast trip with a 3-2 showing including come from behind wins over 2016 NCAA Tournament teams, RV/RV Oregon State and Cal State Fullerton.
Next up for St. John's is the Buccaneer Classic this weekend in Johnson City, Tenn. The Johnnies will play two games each against Eastern Tennessee and Morehead State on Saturday and Sunday.
