SJU-TV to Produce Six Volleyball Matches on ESPN3

QUEENS, N.Y. – As part of a production agreement with ESPN, the St. John’s University Television Network (SJU-TV) will produce six Red Storm volleyball matches this fall that will be carried live in H.D.-quality to more than 99 million homes on ESPN3.
The ESPN3 slate includes the BIG EAST home opener for the Johnnies, as they welcome Providence (Sept. 29) before taking on 2016 NCAA Tournament quarterfinalist Creighton the following day. The next matchup to be featured on ESPN3 will be a midweek showdown against longtime conference foe Georgetown (Oct. 11). The remaining ESPN3 broadcasts include matches against NCAA Tournament participant Marquette (Oct. 27), BIG EAST rival Seton Hall (Nov. 11) and Butler on Senior Day (Nov. 18).
The Red Storm will also appear on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) for three conference matches against Villanova (Oct. 4), DePaul (Oct. 28) and Xavier (Nov. 17). BEDN games can be streamed live through FOX's mobile platform, FOX Sports Go, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go.
The remaining St. John’s home matches will be seen live or heard on SJU-TV All-Access on RedStormSports.com. Every non-conference matchup, including all four matches of the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic (Aug.25-26) will be available on the official website of the Red Storm. All 15 of the Red Storm’s scheduled home matches this fall will be broadcast in some capacity for the St. John’s faithful to follow along.
SJU-TV live-game productions feature four-camera H.D. broadcasts with full graphics integration, instant replay, and both a play-by-play announcer and color analyst to give fans a high-quality viewing experience.
ESPN3 is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the ESPN app and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
