Meredith Reinhardt Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

After making 11 saves in a 1-1 week for the Red Storm, Meredith Reinhardt has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced this afternoon by the conference office.

Monday marks Reinhardt's first selection of the 2018 season to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Reinhardt made 11 stops in a 1-1-0 week for the Scottsdale, Ariz., native. Over two matches the redshirt sophomore faced 35 shots, posting a .846 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average.

In Thursday's 2-1 victory over Creighton, Reinhardt picked up her fourth win of the year tying a season-high six saves and improving her record to 4-4-0 on the 2018 campaign.

On the season, Reinhardt has made a total 41 grabs for a save percentage .745 to rank inside the top-10 for both statistical categories in the BIG EAST. In addition, the Arizona transfer has made at least five saves in five of her 10 appearances this season.

Reinhardt and the Red Storm will return to the pitch on Thursday evening at Belson Stadium, playing host to Providence at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
