Clinics will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from Dec. 2019-Jan. 2020
QUEENS, N.Y. (Nov. 26, 2019) - St. John's softball Head Coach Bob Guerriero has announced that the Red Storm will be hosting weekly mini clinics from Tuesdays and Fridays in Dec. 2019 and Jan. 2020 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at St. John's University.
Assistant Coach Alyssa Tiumalu and volunteer Assistant Coach Grace Kramer will instruct participants with a focus on growth and development within the game of softball.
The clinics will provide aspiring collegiate softball players from second grade through 12th grade the ability to develop their offensive and defensive fundamentals through hitting techniques and fielding/throwing drills, as well as pitching and catching. Each session will cover a different aspect of the game, allowing for each participant to enhance their skills alongside the St. John's coaching staff.
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. for all sessions and the cost is $30 per participant. Teams that bring seven or more participants to the weekly clinics will receive a $5 discount, $25 for each player. All participants are asked to bring their own equipment (i.e. bats, gloves, catchers gear, etc...) and ensure they arrive 30 minutes prior to the 7:00pm start time.
