More than three weeks have passed since the Bluejays bested the Johnnies in Queens. In that first meeting on Jan. 13, Creighton sank a late basket to down the St. John's, 65-63, at Carnesecca Arena. In the last meeting, Creighton's sophomore guard Temi Carda led the way for the Bluejays with a 22-point performance.
Creighton (10-12, 4-7) enters Friday's contest having dropped its last four games, to equal the longest losing streak in BIG EAST play for the Bluejays. The last time Creighton dropped four in a row was during the 2014-15 campaign.
After taking on Creighton, the Johnnies will travel to Rhode Island for a Sunday afternoon showdown with Providence. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. on BIG EAST Digital Network.
