The St. John's women's basketball team's scheduled home opener against St. Francis Brooklyn has been canceled.
The Johnnies, however, have added another non-conference game to their slate, as they will now welcome St. Bonaventure to Carnesecca Arena on Dec. 22 for a 2 p.m. contest. This will mark the fourth all-time meeting between the Johnnies and the Bonnies, with the Red Storm holding a 2-1 advantage.
St. John's last win over St. Bonaventure came a season ago, as Leilani Correa exploded for a team-high 18 points in her first-ever collegiate game, helping lift the Red Storm to a 68-56 victory at the Reilly Center.
With the cancelation of the St. Francis Brooklyn game, the Johnnies will kick off the 2020-21 campaign on Saturday Nov. 28 at Fairleigh Dickinson.
