The Johnnies and the Pirates will kick off at 6 p.m.
With just three games remaining in the BIG EAST regular season, the St. John's women's soccer team will kick off a two-game road swing on Thursday night at Seton Hall.
The match is slated for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports.
The Red Storm (7-5-2, 3-3-1 BIG EAST) enters the game following a convincing win over Providence on Sunday afternoon, as Zsani Kajan found the back of the net for the 12th time this season to lead the Johnnies to a 1-0 victory over the Friars. With 12 tallies though 14 contests this year, Kajan bumped her career total up to 40 goals, tying Adriana Viola for second on the program's all-time scoring list.
Naya Lipkens stopped all five shots on goal she faced on Sunday, picking up her sixth clean sheet of the season against Providence. The Bloomfield, Conn., native is the first Johnnie to log six shutouts in a single season since Diana Poulin recorded a program-high 12 in 2016.
St. John's and Seton Hall have met on the pitch 27 times dating back to 1994 with the Red Storm holding a 20-6-1 advantage in those previous meetings.
The Pirates enter Thursday's contest with a record of 6-9-0, including a 1-6-0 mark during conference action. Seton Hall is coming off a 2-0 setback to Creighton on Sunday afternoon in Omaha.
Senior Naomi Welch and junior Julia Aronov lead the way offensively for the Pirates, recording four goals each this season. Welch has also tallied a trio of assists for a team-high 11 points through 15 games.
Grace Gordon, a junior from Chester Springs, Pa., has played every minute between the pipes for the Pirates this year. Gordon has grabbed 71 saves this season and is boasting a 0.753 save percentage.
Following Thursday's contest, St. John's will travel to Omaha, Neb., for a 2 p.m. ET meeting with Creighton on Sunday afternoon.
