Jonathan Huber Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Redshirt junior scored four goals against Villanova
QUEENS, N.Y. (April 20, 2021) – Redshirt junior Jonathan Huber has earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll, the conference announced on Tuesday. The Great River, N.Y., native collected six goals and one assist in the Johnnies' two games last week.
In the Red Storm's first matchup with the Golden Eagles on April 14, Huber tallied two goals, scoring once in the first quarter before netting a go-ahead goal in the final stanza.
On Saturday against the Wildcats, Huber tied a season high with four goals and added an assist. The 5-foot-9 attackman now leads the team in goals (17) and points (22).
This is the third BIG EAST weekly award for the redshirt junior. Huber last received this recognition after scoring a team-high five goals at Long Island University during the 2020 season. In 2019, he garnered BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors after recording five goals on the road against Hartford.
Huber and the Johnnies will return to action on Saturday when the team travels to The Mile High City for a 2 p.m. ET matchup with No.9/9 Denver.
