Against Fordham, St. John's lost the first two sets, 25-18 and 25-16, respectively. The Johnnies then came back from the deficit to win three straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 15-9, respectively.

Three Johnnies were named to the All-Tournament Team after the victories. Stony Brook will look to defend its home court with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-2 record at home. The Seawolves went 2-1 at their home tournament this weekend, defeating Tarleton State on Friday before splitting Saturday with a win against St. Thomas and a loss to Yale. Stony Brook returns Abby Campbell, who was named to both the First Team All-America East and the league's All-Rookie team last season after posting 106 kills and 26 blocks in 12 games for the Seawolves.
