Jarrard knocked in five runs for the Red Storm
QUEENS, N.Y. (Feb. 28, 2022) – London Jarrard has been named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, it was announced on Monday by the league office.
Jarrard was a crucial component in the Red Storm's offense during its two wins on Friday against Fairfield and Saint Joseph's. The Carlsbad, Calif. native went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored against the Stags before posting a 3-for-4 effort with three RBIs and two runs scored against the Hawks.
Jarrard currently leads the team in batting average at a .357 clip. She also leads the team in hits (10), runs (5), and doubles (2).
St. John's will take on Florida Atlantic in a doubleheader on Tuesday starting at 2 p.m.
