St. John’s Wraps Up Outdoor Season at NCAA East Preliminaries on Saturday

4x400-meter relay team places sixth in its heat in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- The St. John's women's track and field team concluded its outdoor season on Saturday when four members of the program competed against the best in the nation in the 4x400-meter relay.
After competing as individuals on Thursday, Leah Anderson, Skyy Diop, Tatyana McKenzie joined Mandana Vouillemin to finish with a time of 3:41.20, grabbing sixth place in the heat while beating out teams from Michigan and Auburn. The strong result gave the quartet a finish of 19th overall, missing out on qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by three seconds.
The Red Storm sent the most athletes to the NCAA Regionals (four) in six seasons after capturing multiple BIG EAST Championships in a successful 2022 outdoor campaign.
