St. John’s Softball Releases Fall 2022 Slate

Red Storm to play eight games over the next four weekends
QUEENS, N.Y. (Sept. 20, 2022) – St. John's Softball Head Coach Bob Guerriero has announced his eight-game team's 2022 fall schedule.
The Red Storm will face five Division I and three Division II opponents over the course of its fall slate with six games scheduled to be played at home.
The Johnnies will open the fall will with a doubleheader against Queens College and Stony Brook on Sept. 24. First pitch with the nearby Division II Knights is scheduled for 10 a.m., with the game against the Seawolves slated for approximately 12:30 p.m.
The Seawolves split a home-and-home series with the Red Storm last season and finished second in the America East with a mark of 31-16.
The following weekend on Oct. 1, St. John's will welcome Mercy and Fairfield at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Last season, the Red Storm beat the Stags twice, including a walk-off 4-3 win on March 16.
One week later, on Oct. 8, the Johnnies will play two consecutive contests against Manhattan. First pitch of the day is scheduled for 10 a.m.
The Red Storm will conclude its fall season with its lone road trip to nearby Iona on Oct. 15. The Johnnies will meet the Gaels and Division II Felician
Last season was headlined by a stellar rookie campaign from London Jarrard. The All-BIG EAST First Team selection led the team in numerous offensive categories, finishing with a .400 batting average, which ranked 10th in the nation among NCAA Division I freshmen.
