Women’s Golf Competes at Princeton Invitational

St. John’s holds steady in ninth place after 36 holes
PRINCETON, N.J. – St. John's women's golf opened the season at the Princeton Invitational as the team finished two rounds at Springdale Golf Course on Saturday.
Posting a 36-hole score of 613, the Red Storm entered the clubhouse in ninth place. Yale paced the field, posting a 571 through the first day of competition.
Karen Beglin and Jessie Kweon closed out the day locked in a tie for 27th as the pair each shot 151 during the first 36 holes. Amy Kim followed six strokes behind the duo, recording a 157 during the season-opening event. She posted three birdies during her second round of the day.
Cloe Clocchiatti came into the clubhouse tied for 55th place as she carded a 160. Jill Beglin closed out the Johnnie lineup, recording a 162 after 36 holes.
Individually, Angelica Kusnowo closed out her rounds carding a 166. Laia Barro finished one stroke behind the junior at 167.
St. John's will close out the event with 18 holes tomorrow, beginning at 9 a.m. Live scoring will be available via GolfStat and all results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
