St. John's Concludes Day Two at BIG EAST Championships

Jessie Kweon shoots 2-over par, 73, on Tuesday
HARDEEVILLE, S.C.- The St. John's women's golf team wrapped up the second round from the Riverton Pointe Golf Club on Tuesday.
The Red Storm currently sit in fifth place with 18 holes remaining in the competition with a cumulative score of 66-over.
Xavier remains in the lead at plus-31, 12 strokes ahead of second place Georgetown. Creighton posted an excellent second round shooting 3-over, the best round of the day, to take third place into the final day of play at 43-over. Seton Hall sits five strokes ahead of the Red Storm at plus-61 at a team. Butler rounds out the standings in sixth place with a team score of 93-over through 36 holes.
2022 All-BIG EAST selection and recent St. John's Invitational champion Jessie Kweon shot the team's best round of the tournament so far finishing with a 2-over, 73, on Tuesday at Riverton Pointe Country Club. Kweon has made par on 22 of 36 holes played.
Cloe Clocchiatti ranks just outside the top-10 on the leaderboard currently tied for 11th place after shooting a 5-over in the second round. Overall, the senior has shot 14-over and tallied 22 pars in South Carolina.
Laia Barro checks in next just inside the top-20 with a mark of 19-over, 163, in the conference tournament. Karen Beglin trails just behind at 23-over, 167, for the event. Both players shot a 10-over, 82, in today's round.
Angelica Kusnowo was inserted into the line-up on Tuesday and recorded a 19-over, 91.
