St. John’s Cancels Saturday’s Doubleheader Against Bucknell

The Red Storm will conclude its regular season home slate on Wednesday against Stony Brook
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's softball team has canceled their weekend doubleheader against Bucknell set for Saturday at Red Storm Field.
Due to expected inclement weather, the Red Storm have canceled its Saturday doubleheader against the Bucknell Bison and the games will not be rescheduled.
St. John's will play four more games this season including its final home game against Stony Brook on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. Due to the cancelation, a "Senior Day" presentation for the two seniors will be moved to Wednesday's game.
On Thursday, the Johnnies swept a doubleheader against Sacred Heart, 7-4, 11-0 to win its 11th and 12th home games of the season. Jess Bianco stole seven bases in the pair of games to inch within 11 of the program's single season record.
St. John's will close its regular season slate with a weekend series in Omaha against the Creighton Bluejays starting next Friday.
