Aaron Mann Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Mann slashed .429/.579/.786 with six RBIs and seven runs scored in four starts for the Red Storm
QUEENS, N.Y. – Graduate student Aaron Mann earned his second conference accolade of the season, securing a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Monday.
The Little Rock, Ark., native has also picked up a BIG EAST Player of the Week award this season on March 20.
Mann slashed .429/.579/.786 in four starts for the Red Storm against Columbia and Villanova, logging six RBIs and seven runs scored. Of his six hits last week, the Johnnies' first baseman smacked five doubles.
He went 2-for-4 at the dish against the Lions to start the week, crossing home plate on two occasions. On Saturday against Villanova, his lone two-bagger drove in a pair of runs before scoring in the following at-bat. Mann finished the week on a high note, smacking three doubles while racking up four RBIs and a career-high four runs scored in the Johnnies' 13-3 victory.
Mann has been atop the conference leaderboard all season in batting average, hitting .379 with a second-best hits mark at 64.
The Johnnies will return to action on Wednesday when they honor their soon-to-be graduates on Senior Day against Iona in a 6 p.m.
