St. John’s at the Top of the Leaderboard Heading into Final Round

St. John’s and Youngstown State tied at 13-over through 36 holes
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The St. John's men's golf team sits at the top of the team leaderboard at the Bucknell Invitational through two rounds.
Battling through cold and windy conditions in Central Pennsylvania, the Red Storm tied for the best second round score carding an 11-over, 291. St. John's and Youngstown State both sit at 13-over, 573, for the tournament to tie for the lead in the 18-team tournament heading into Tuesday's final round at Bucknell Golf Club.
Three Johnnies sit inside the top-20 in the 108-golfer field. Peicheng Chen continues to pace the Red Storm sitting at 2-over, 142, for the tournament. David Mlynek and individual competitor Tyler Clark both check in tied for 18th place at 4-over, 144.
Brandon Sperling had the low-round of the day carding a 1-over, 71, in Lewisburg, Pa. The graduate student rose up to 26th place after tallying a pair of birdies over the final five holes.
The final round at the Bucknell Invitational will begin tomorrow starting at 9 a.m. Live results will be available on Leaderboard King.
