Leyre Campo de Quevedo and Ezgi Yasar Polish off 2024 Season at the NCAA Cross Country Northeast Regional

HOPKINTON, N.H. – Leyre Campo de Quevedo and Ezgi Yasar wrapped up the St. John's cross country team's season at the NCAA Northeast Regional at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds Cross Country Course in Hopkinton, N.H., on Friday morning.
Campo De Quevedo finished off her impressive freshman campaign by leading the Red Storm with a 143rd place result at the regional meet. The Spain native paced the 6K course at a mark of 22:19.42.
Yasar finished her second career NCAA Northeast Regional appearance in 153rd place. The junior earned a season-best 22:27.13 6K finishing time in her final race of the season.
The Red Storm concludes the 2024 season with two top-five team finishes, including a Metropolitan Individual Championship for Campo De Quevedo.
