St. John’s Slides up Leaderboard in Day Two of Columbia Classic

Red Storm sit in 11th place ahead of tomorrow’s final round
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The St. John's women's golf team moved up the leaderboard during Sunday morning's second round at the Columbia Classic.
The Red Storm slid up three spots on Sunday after shooting 14-over, 302, in the second round to take 11th place with one round remaining at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla.
Overall, the Johnnies have accumulated a team score of 33-over, 609, after 36 holes of play.
Xuan Khue Minh Doan continued to impress in Sunday's middle round after carding a 1-over, 73. The sophomore recovered from two early bogeys by tallying back-to-back birdies and finished the day at 1-over, 73. The Hanoi, Vietnam native remains inside the top-10 on the individual leaderboard currently sitting tied for 10th place at 1-over, 145, for the tournament.
Cloe Clocchiatti improved mightily in her second go-around at Duran Golf Club. The graduate student improved upon yesterday's score by six strokes logging a 3-over, 75, on Sunday.
Angelica Kusnowo also went significantly lower on Sunday after firing a 4-over, 76 in the Sunshine State.
Kelly Wu ranks second on the team on the overall leaderboard sitting tied for 42nd overall with a 9-over after 36 holes.
The final round from the Columbia Classic will tee off at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. Live results will be available on GolfGenius.
