Xuan Khue Minh Doan shoots 1-under in third round at Duran Golf Club

MELBOURNE, Fla.– The St. John's women's golf team closed out the Columbia Classic on Monday afternoon, finishing in 13^th place.

Xuan Khue Minh Doan led the charge tallying an eighth place finish and shot 1-under, 71, at Duran Golf Club on Monday. The Wofford transfer finished at even par, 216 and tallied team-high's with 11 birdies, 32 pars and didn't record anything worse than a bogey in Melbourne, Fla. The sophomore has finished first for the Red Storm in all five tournaments this season.

Overall, the Red Storm ended up in 13^th out of 16 teams with an overall team score of 62-over, 926 at the conclusion of 54 holes.

Yale took home the team title with a cumulative score of 7-over, 871. Penn State's Michelle Cox raced away from the field carding a 9-under, 207, at the Columbia Classic.

Kelly Wu and Cloe Clocchiatti tallied top-50 finishes ending the event at 18-over, 234.

The Red Storm will have a month off before competing in the Don Benbow Spring Invitational hosted by Butler on March 11-12.
