Red Storm drop to 5-5 on the season
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The St. John's women's tennis team fell to Brown, 4-0, on Sunday in Providence, R.I.
The Red Storm (5-5) dropped the team doubles point and Brown earned three victories in singles action to clinch the win
In doubles play, Arina Gumerova and Alicia Gomez were in a tight battle on the No. 1 court with Ali Benedetto and Addison Ahlstrom before the match was ultimately declared unfinished.
Brown improves to 8-5 with the victory.
The Johnnies will return to action on Thursday to face Seton Hall in Queens in the first of four straight BIG EAST contests. First serve from the USTA National Tennis Center is set for 11:45 a.m.
