London Jarrard Earns Third Nod to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The shortstop garners her third selection in the month of March and the fifth of her career
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's softball shortstop London Jarrard earned her third nod of the 2024 season to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following her performance against Wagner and Providence last week.
The selection marks Jarrard's third in the month of March and the fifth of her career. The junior is the first Red Storm player to earn the honor three times in one month since Krystal Puga did so in March of 2018.
Jarrard finished the week 9-for-18 (.500 batting average) with two doubles, three RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. The shortstop kicked off the series against Providence with a career 5-for-5 day from the dish on her way to finishing the series 8-for-12.
The Carlsbad, Calif., product is currently batting .500 in conference play and .359 overall, ranking second and tenth in the BIG EAST, respectively. Jarrard also ranks top five in the conference with 33 RBIs (tied first), 37 hits (third), 10 doubles (tied second), two triples (tied first) and 66 total bases (first).
Jarrard and the Red Storm will continue its 2024 campaign when it heads to Iona for a 3 p.m. start tomorrow.
