Women’s Golf Readies for Princeton Invitational

Red Storm to compete in tournament for the fifth consecutive year
QUEENS, N.Y.– For the fifth consecutive season, the St. John's women's golf team will compete in the Princeton Invitational this week at Springdale Golf Club in New Jersey.
The two-day, three round tournament will tee off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Live scoring will be available on SCOREBOARD.
The Red Storm will compete in a 12-team field against- Dartmouth, FDU, Penn, Rutgers, Boston University, Seton Hall, Columbia, Yale, UAlbany, Harvard, Georgetown and the hosts, Princeton.
The Johnnies line-up will feature six players, with four counting in the scoring. Lily Huynh, Kelly Wu, Laura Mizlerova, Cathilyn Lee, Pihla Pennanen and Charlotte Roodenburg will tee it up for St. John's in the Garden State.
The Red Storm made its season debut at the Nittany Invitational on Sept. 21-22 placing 13th at the Penn State Blue Course in State College, Pa. Huynh recorded a team-best 23rd place finish at the event, including a career-low 3-under, 69, during the second round.
In last year's Princeton Invitation, St. John's finished 11th place at Springdale Golf Club. Wu finished a team-best 26th overall on the leaderboard after shooting a 17-over, 230.
