Nine St. John’s Programs Post Perfect Scores in Latest NCAA Graduation Success Rate Report

NCAA released data for 2015-16 to 2018-18 cohorts earlier this week
QUEENS, N.Y. - The NCAA Released its annual data on Graduation Success Rate (GSR) earlier this week and St. John's University was once again well represented among the nation's best in academic achievement.
Nine Red Storm programs- men's fencing, women's fencing, women's golf, women's soccer, softball, women's tennis and women's volleyball posted perfect marks. Four additional teams-men's tennis, women's basketball, women's cross country and track & field and women's soccer checked in above the 90-percent mark.
Of the 15 Red Storm athletic programs accounted for in the GSR release, 14 finished above the federal graduation rate for their respective sports. Cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field are counted as one sport in the GSR metric calculation.
The Graduation Success Rate measures six-year graduation rates at NCAA member institutions. The cohorts examined in the release encompass student-athletes who entered St. John's as freshmen between the fall semesters of 2015 and 2018.
