St. John’s to Open Spring Season at Babs Steffens Invitational

Red Storm will begin spring campaign in Florida on Monday
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's golf team will open the spring season at Babs Steffens Invitational starting on Monday morning.
The Red Storm will compete in the three-round 54-hole event hosted by Stetson at DeBary Country Club in Florida. Play is slated to begin with a shogun start at 8:45 a.m. and live scoring will be available on Leaderboard King.
The Johnnies will compete in a 15-team field against- UAlbany, Bethune-Cookman, Bucknell, Chicago State, Jacksonville, Keiser, Lehigh, LeMoyne, Palm Beach State, Seminole State, Seton Hall, Stetson, Troy and West Georgia. The Red Storm line-up will feature- Karen Beglin, Xuan Khue Minh Doan, Cathilyn Lee, Kelly Wu, Lily Hyunh and Amy Kim.
St. John's competed in four events during the fall portion of its schedule. The Red Storm turned in its best result at the Quinnipiac Classic, when it finished tied for third.
The Babs Steffens Invitational marks the first of six events this spring for the Johnnies and will play three consecutive tournaments in the Sunshine State to begin the spring campaign.
