Red Storm sits in fourth place in the 13-team field

DADE CITY, Fla.– St. John's women's golf standout Xuan Khue Minh Doan is the leader in the clubhouse after the opening round at the Spring Break Shootout.

The junior shot a 1-under, 141, to lead the 75-golfer field and pace the Johnnies into fourth place in the 13-team field. The Red Storm carded a 30-over, 598, at Lake Jovita Golf Club in Dade City, Fla. The squad shot an 15-over, 299, in both rounds on Monday.

Minh Doan, who is coming off a runner-up finish at the Northern Kentucky Spring Fling logged a 1-under in the opening round and an even par, 71, over the first two rounds firing seven birdies in Florida.

Cathilyn Lee is tied for 20^th place with an 8-over, 150 and Amy Kim shot up the leaderboard registering a 3-over, 74, over the final 18 holes to post a 9-over, 151, good for 27^th place after day one.

The final round of the Spring Break Shootout will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a shotgun start. Tuesday's results will be available throughout the day on SCOREBOARD.
