Peicheng Chen Takes Third at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

Red Storm claim eighth place in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio– The St. John's men's golf standout Peicheng Chen recorded a top-three finish at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on Saturday.
Battling through windy conditions at Ohio State Golf Club Scarlet Course, the Red Storm carded a 59-over, 911, over three rounds to claim an eighth place finish in the 13-team field. Ohio State took home the team title logging a 24-over on its home course.
Chen, finished the event with a 2-over, 215, to take his sixth top-three finish of the 2024-25 campaign amongst the competitive 72-golfer field. The senior flushed 10 birdie putts which ranked third-most in the tournament.
Joseph Dolezal tied for 38th place logging a 16-over, 229, over 54 holes in Columbus. Frank Wu tied Chen for the low-round on Saturday shooting 4-over, 75, to close the tournament.
St. John's will be back in action at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships from April 26-28 at Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, S.C. Chen will look to defend his individual title.
