Joseph Dolezal shoots team-best 1-over, 73, on Saturday
OKATIE, S.C. – The St. John's men's golf concluded the first round of the 2025 BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP at Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, S.C. on Saturday.
The Red Storm carded a 13-over, 301, to take 10th place after the first round of the conference tournament. Marquette is leading the field recording a 5-under, 264, on Saturday.
Joseph Dolezal paced the squad finishing with an 1-over, 73 to take 19th place in the field. The freshman logged 14 pars and two birdies over the opening 18 holes.
Defending champion Peicheng Chen produced a 3-over, 75, to tie with teammate David Mlynek. The duo is currently knotted for 31st place.
The Johnnies will tee off for the second round on Sunday morning beginning at 8 a.m. Live scoring will be available on SCOREBOARD and a livestream will be available on GolfKast TV.
