Red Storm sit in sixth place after the first round

HARDEEVILLE, S.C.– The St. John's women's golf team wrapped up the opening round at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP on Saturday.

The Red Storm currently sit in sixth place in the conference tournament standings after the initial 18 holes at Riverton Pointe Golf Club in Hardeeville, S.C. The Johnnies carded a 35-over, 323, to kick off the event.

Xuan Khue Minh Doan paced the Red Storm during Saturday's round shooting a 6-over, 78, to take 13^th place on the leaderboard. Cathilyn Lee finished on stroke behind her with a 7-over, 79.

To round out the Red Storm line-up Amy Kim logged a 9-over, 81 to take 23^rd and Kelly Wu tallied a 13-over, 85, in the Palmetto State.

The St. John's women's golf team will take the course for the second of three rounds on Easter Sunday. The BIG EAST Tournament will be live streamed on GolfKast TV and live results will be available on SCOREBOARD.
