Four Johnnies Garner NFCA All-Northeast Region Selections

Francia and Jarrard were tabbed to the second team, while Serafinko and Bianco were named to the third team
QUEENS, N.Y. – Coming off St. John's softball's most winningest season in program history and its fourth BIG EAST Regular Season Title, four Johnnies garnered NFCA All-Northeast Region selections, the organization announced on Thursday.
Loreley Francia and London Jarrard were tabbed to the second team, while Ana Serafinko and Jess Bianco were named to the third team. The four NFCA All-Region selections mark the most for the program in a season, topping the previous mark of three selections set in 2004 and 2018.
Francia enjoyed a tremendous junior season inside the circle, recording a 19-7 record with a 1.84 ERA and 189 strikeouts in 156.1 innings pitched. The All-BIG EAST First Teamer finished the season amongst the best in NCAA DI, ranking 19th in punchouts and 24th in ERA.
The Spring, Texas product was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week four times throughout the regular season, including a nod after tossing a run-rule no-hitter against Rider on Feb. 28, where she struck out 12 batters and allowed just one base runner in five hitless innings. The NFCA All-Northeast Region Second Team honor marks Francia's first.
Jarrard earns her first NFCA All-Northeast Region Second Team selection as well after wrapping up her career in Queens with an impressive senior season, batting .404 with 72 hits, 12 doubles, 13 home runs and 57 RBIs. The Carlsbad, Calif., native was named BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year and to the conference's second team, marking her third career all-conference honor.
The shortstop finishes her astonishing career with St. John's as one of the best hitters in program history. Jarrard is the all-time program leader in career batting average (.370), career doubles (56), career RBIs (165) and single-season RBIs (57).
Serafinko was selected to the NFCA All-Northeast Region Third Team after a historic season on the rubber. The BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year and First-Team honoree set the program single-season record with 282 strikeouts and broke the BIG EAST regular season mark with 153 punchouts in conference play.
Nationally, the left-hander ranked second in strikeouts and helped lead the Red Storm to rank first with 501 team punchouts and 9.27 strikeouts per seven innings. The junior earned BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week four times in 2025, racking up double-digit strikeouts on 10 occasions.
Bianco was tabbed to the NFCA All-Region Third Team for the second consecutive year following a spectacular junior season from the dish. The centerfielder batted .389 with 54 runs scored, 74 hits, 20 RBIs and 28 stolen bases.
The Cherry Hill, N.J., product's 54 runs scored and 74 hits in 2025 mark single-season program records, while her 96 career stolen bases in just three seasons signify a program high. Bianco also earned a selection to the All-BIG EAST Second Team for the second year in a row.
