The Red Storm play an eight-game slate beginning on Sept. 27.
QUEENS, N.Y. - Fresh off a record-breaking 2025 campaign, Head Coach Michelle DePolo has released the St. John's softball fall 2025 schedule on Thursday morning.Â
Â
The eight-game slate features three home contests at Red Storm Field and two road doubleheaders. Each of the Red Storm's five road matchups will take place less than 20 miles from campus.
Â
St. John's is coming off a 39-17-1 season in the spring of 2025, in which the program set new records for total wins (39) and BIG EAST victories (19) en route to the Johnnies' fourth BIG EAST Regular Season Title.
Â
The Red Storm begins its fall schedule with a doubleheader at Donald E. Walsh Field at Rice Oval, taking on Iona and Division II St. Thomas Aquinas on Sept. 27. Start times for those clashes are to be determined.
Â
In a quick turnaround, St. John's returns to Red Storm Field on Sept. 28 for a 2 p.m. 10-inning home matchup against another DII opponent in Adelphi. This serves as the first of two meetings with the Panthers this fall, as the St. John's is set for a rematch with Adelphi in Garden City at Janet L. Ficke Field on Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m.
Â
Later that day, St. John's takes on Stony Brook at Janet L. Ficke Field on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.
Â
At the conclusion of the doubleheader, the Johnnies receive a six-day break before their next meeting, an Oct. 11 10-inning battle with LIU Brooklyn at Red Storm Field at 12 p.m.
Â
The following day, St. John's hits the road again, traveling to Bill Edwards stadium for an 11 a.m. 10-inning contest with Hofstra on Oct. 12.
Â
St. John's rounds out its fall schedule by welcoming Rutgers to Queens for a 10-inning contest at Red Storm Field on Oct. 18 at 12 p.m.
Â
Following the fall slate, the Red Storm will return to action in February as it looks to defend its BIG EAST title during the 2026 campaign.
