Lily Hyun tallied team-best 23rd place finish at the Penn State Blue Course

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (Sept. 22, 2025) - The St. John's women's golf program finished out its first tournament of the 2025-26 campaign on Monday. The Red Storm tied for 13^th place at the Nittany Lion Invitation at the Penn State Blue Course.

The Johnnies logged a 61-over, 925, to tie with Towson for the 13^th place over the two-day, three-round season-opening tournament in State College, Pa.

Lily Hyunh recorded a team-best 23^rd place finish. The Chatsworth, Calif., native shot a 7-over, 223, in her first appearance of the 2025-26 season. The sophomore logged a career-low 3-under, 69, during yesterday's second round.

Kelly Wu registered the best team performance on Monday carding a 4-over, 76, to finish inside the top-50. The senior recorded a 16-over, 232 over the 54-hole event.

Laura Mizlerova logged an 18-over, 234 to tie for 56^th place and Cathilyn Lee ended with a 20-over, 236, to take 66^th place in Pennsylvania.

The Johnnies will be back in action at the Princeton Invitational hosted at Springdale Golf Club on Oct. 4-5.
