Women’s Golf Completes Day One at Space Coast Classic

Red Storm placed ninth place over opening day
MELBOURNE, Fla.- The St. John's women's golf completed day one at the Space Coast Classic at Duran Golf Club.
The Red Storm shot a 30-over, 606, during the opening two rounds at the Duran Golf Club. The Johnnies shot 14-over, 302, in the first round and a 16-over, 306, in the penultimate round to take ninth place in the 14-team field.
Laura Mizlerova sits in 25th place carding a 5-over, 149, over two rounds of action in the Sunshine State, Fellow underclassmen Lily Huynhshot a 7-over, 151, over 36 holes of action. Kelly Wu and Pihla Pennanen registered a 10-over, 154, on Saturday to tie for 47th place.
The final round of the Space Coast Classic will tee off tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Live coverage will be available on YouTube streamed by the Championship Golf Network.
