Women’s Golf Returns to Action at UNCW River Landing Classic

Red Storm will compete on March 2-3 in North Carolina
QUEENS, N.Y.- The St. John's women's golf team will return to action on Monday when it competes in the UNCW River Landing Classic in North Carolina.
The Johnnies will compete in three rounds on Monday and Tuesday at the River Landing- River Course in Wallace, N.C. The Red Storm will tee off on both days at 8:45 a.m. for a shotgun start.
St. John's will compete in the event for the first time in an eight team field against- Appalachian State, Kennesaw State, North Carolina A&T, Ohio, UNC Asheville, the hosts UNC Wilmington and William & Mary.
Head Coach Ambry Bishop-Santillo's line-up will feature Kelly Wu, Laura Mzilerova, Lily Huynh, Cathilyn Lee and Kirsten Lee. Phila Pennanen and Charlotte Roodenburg are set to compete as individuals.
In its first tournament of the spring season, the Red Storn recorded a ninth place finish at the Space Coast Classic in Melbourne, Fla. Mizlerova and Wu paced the squad tying for 35th place in the Sunshine State.
Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament on SCOREBOARD.
