Mitch Campbell Selected to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Campbell recorded a career-high three goals on Saturday against Bryant
NEW YORK – A St. John's lacrosse student-athlete has earned a spot in the BIG EAST Weekly Awards for the fourth consecutive week, with Mitch Campbell landing on the Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday.
The sophomore paced the Red Storm offense on Saturday against Bryant, recording a career-high three goals on four shots on goal while adding two ground balls.
The Lake Mary, Fla., native has now scored in four of the six games St. John's has played this season.
On the year, Campbell has totaled seven goals, ranking third on the team, to go along with one assist. He has also placed 15 shots on target, collected seven ground balls and owns a .625 shots-on-goal percentage. Campbell also scored the game-winning goal in St. John's victory over Quinnipiac on Feb. 17.
The honor marks the first of Campbell's career. During his debut campaign in 2025, the sophomore recorded 24 points on nine goals and 15 assists.
St. John's returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts No. 19/RV Rutgers at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium. Face-off is set for 3 p.m.
