NEW YORK — Following a strong 4-1 week, a pair of Johnnies claimed BIG EAST Weekly Honors, the conference announced Monday. St. John's softball's Ana Serafinko was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week, while Natasha Limbani earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Serafinko collects her fourth Pitcher of the Week honor of the season and first since March 23, 2026, when the senior southpaw earned the awards in back-to-back weeks. Limbani earns her second consecutive and third overall Weekly Honor Roll placement of the 2026 campaign.
Serafinko went 3-0 in three appearances, posting a 1.94 ERA across 18.0 innings while allowing 12 hits and holding opponents to a .176 batting average. The southpaw struck out 29, recording two complete games in the circle.
Through 37 appearances this season, Serafinko leads the conference in ERA (2.73), complete games (20), wins (17) and innings pitched (182).
Limbani paced the Red Storm offense, batting .706 (12-for-17) across five starts with four runs scored, a double and four RBIs. The junior recorded four multi-hit performances, including a four-hit outing against Iona, while posting a .765 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage.
The Mississauga, Ontario, native owns 58 knocks on the year and is batting .384, both of which rank top 10 in the BIG EAST.
Serafinko, Limbani and St. John's will return to action this week when they play host to local foe Wagner on April 29 at 2 p.m. The matchup from Red Storm Field is set for a 2 p.m. start and will broadcast on ESPN+. Live stats will be available on RedStormSports.com.
