St. John’s Set for BIG EAST Finale Against Seton Hall on Saturday

The Red Storm aim for their fifth consecutive victory
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's tennis team is set to host Seton Hall (5-12, 1-3 BIG EAST) on Saturday afternoon in its regular season BIG EAST finale. First serve from the St. John's Outdoor Courts is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Red Storm enter the matchup with a 13-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play.
In their most recent outing, St. John's secured the doubles point and built a 3-0 lead behind singles victories from Charlotta Buss and Nicoline Sartz-Lunde. After FDU rallied to even the match at 3-3, Nao Kojima delivered a three-set comeback win to clinch a 4-3 victory.
Seton Hall enters Saturday following a 2025 campaign that included a BIG EAST Tournament semifinal appearance.
The Pirates have dropped six of their last seven matches this season but are coming off a 7-0 win over Hofstra. Kir Karrakhova leads the team on the No. 1 court with an 8-8 record.
Saturday's contest marks the 24th all-time meeting between the programs, with St. John's winning each of the last six matchups. It also marks the Red Storm's first match on the outdoor courts on campus since April 7, 2024.
Following Saturday's match, St. John's will close out the regular season against Stony Brook on April 10 at the Stony Brook University Tennis Courts. First serve time will be announced at a later date.
