Fall 2010: Competed in only one tournament for the fall season, the Farnesworth/Princeton Invitational (Sept. 18-20).
Spring 2010: Won 12 matches, competing at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 positions ... claimed a win in the final seven matches of the season ... defeated USF in the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament (April 23) ... earned wins in his final three non-conference contests against Stony Brook (April 19), Concordia (April 8) and Marist (April 7) ... won two BIG EAST matches: Connecticut (April 1) and Georgetown (March 21) ... won seven doubles matches on the year, including BIG EAST wins over Villanova (April 1) and Georgetown (March 21).
Spring 2009: Finished sophomore season with a 6-9 record after a 2-0 start ... had a three-match win streak in March with victories against Florida Gulf Coast (March 15), Georgetown (March 20) and Stony Brook (March 27).
Before St. John[apos]s: Competed in the Israeli national circuit since 1996 ... taken part in the Ra[apos]anana Championships and Spain Championships ... won the national title in his age group on seven different occasions ... took first place in the Ra[apos]anana Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2001 ... placed fourth in the Spain Championships in 2000.
Personal: Son of Daniel and Dafna Honig ... has two sisters, Adi (28) and Ifat (26) ... played tennis in seven different countries: Spain, Turkey, Romania, Portugal, China Israel and America ... majors in international business.
