Bio
As a senior in 2015: Played in 14 games and picked up two starts … tallied three hits in 13 at bats … drove in two runs and scores two runs … notched a pinch-hit double and came around to score in a win over Rhode Island (March 8) … crushed a pinch-hit two-run home run in the NCAA Regional versus New Mexico State on May 16 ... member of the 2014-15 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
As a junior in 2014: Appeared in 24 games, starting in nine ... went 1-for-3 with a RBI in a start against Northern Illinois (Feb. 8) ... picked up a pinch-hit base hit against Seton Hall at home (April 19) ... worked seven walks in 31 at bats ... did not commit a single error in 17 chances ... named to the 2013-14 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.As a sophomore in 2013: Appeared in 51 games, starting 48 ... recorded 28 hits including seven doubles, one triple, and a home run ... posted nine RBI, eight runs, seven walks, and five sacrifice bunts ... led team with four hit-by-pitches ... picked up two doubles in a 3-for-3 performance with two RBI and a walk against Iona on April 13.
As a freshman in 2012: Strong and versatile defender, recorded 85 putouts with a .959 fielding percentage while splitting time between left field and second base ... played in all 57 games with 55 starts, batting .151 in 139 at bats ... showed power with two home runs despite her 5-4 frame ... best when the pressure was on, hit .333 with the bases loaded and had a .378 success rate at advancing runners, leading the team with 15 runners advanced with one out ... had a two for three outing against Southern Illinois (Feb. 26) ... hit her first over-the-fence home run at any level with a solo shot against Virginia (March 2) ... went 1-for-4 with a season-high two runs scored against UNC Wilmington (March 9) ... named to the 2011-12 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
At Murrieta Valley: four-year letter winner and a team captain as a senior ... known as a defensive cornerstone with the ability to play multiple positions ... named defensive player of the year during the 2011 season ... improved batting average by at least 40 points each year between freshman and junior year ... led team to second place league finish in 2008 and 2010 ... also excelled in the classroom, was named a scholar-athlete all four years of high school ... member of the national honor society and the school choir.
