Kvilhaug on Guzman: 'Laura has been such a nice addition to our team. She has done a fantastic job of catching our pitchers and continues to improve all the time. Laura works hard and brings a great set of values to our team. Offensively she is continuing to work on parts of her swing and has shown potential for power. Defensively she will be catching behind Kacee as well as looking for some innings at second base.'

Before St. John[apos]s: Four-year letterwinner at the Mary Louis Academy ... named team[apos]s most valuable player in 2005 ... awarded team[apos]s outstanding offensive player in 2006 ... all-city selection in 2008 ... named team[apos]s best defensive player in 2008 ... also played basketball at the academy.
