Kvilhaug on Halladay: 'Ona is a player you love to have as a member of your team. She truly understands and embraces the team concept and accepts her role of playing wherever necessary. Ona has experience at just about every infield position, has seen a considerable amount of time in the outfield, and has an entire season of hitting at the DI level making her a valuable asset to our program. She will look to compete for an infield position but most likely play wherever needed.' As a Freshmen in 2007: Started 39 games in her first season with the Red Storm ... tied for second on the team with seven sac-hits ... spent time in the outfield and at first and third base ... scored the winning run in the last game of the season for the Red Storm versus Louisville (May 6) ... scored her first run vs. Providence (April 1) ... recorded three hits and her first collegiate RBI vs. Rider (March 28) ... recorded first collegiate hit in her first game of the season at Florida Atlantic (Feb. 16).
