As A Graduate Student (2021): Named to the USILA Senior All-Star Game... Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team... Started all eleven games on the backline for the Johnnies... Led the team in turnovers forced (14)... Scooped up 26 groundballs which was second best on the team.
As A Senior (2020): Appeared in all seven games for the Johnnies ... Dished an assist in St. John’s loss at Michigan (Feb. 29) … Led all defensemen with 20 groundballs on the season ... Grabbed three or more groundballs in all but three games this season ... Second on the team in caused turnovers (20).
As A Junior (2019): Started all 14 games on the backline for the Red Storm … Scored his first career goal in a 12-11 loss vs. Stony Brook (April 2) ... Scooped up 30 groundballs, ranking fourth on the team … Caused a team-leading 17 turnovers.

At Springfield Delco: Was a three year starter for both lacrosse and football. This past season Smyth helped lead Springfield Delco to its first Pennsylvania State championship since 1993 with a 4 – 3 win over traditional PA powerhouse LaSalle College High School. As a junior, Smyth’s Springfield team lost in the state semi-finals. Individually, Smyth was a two-time first team All-County selection for lacrosse, as well as a First Team All-State, All Central League, and Philly.com lacrosse honoree as a junior. In football, Smyth helped lead Springfield Delco High School to their first Central League title since 1994 and the district championship game, earning All-Central League and All-County football honors along the way.
