Head Coach Jason Miller announced that Brendan Gibson will be promoted to Director of Lacrosse Operations for the 2019 season.

During his high school days, Gibson led Chaminade to a pair of Nassau Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association titles in his two years under legendary head coach Jack Moran. As a senior, he earned Academic All-American honors.
Gibson spent his collegiate years at Yale, captaining the Bulldogs to an Ivy League regular season title in 2010. He sits in second in goals (95) and seventh in points (141) all-time at Yale, and was named MVP of the team in both 2009 and 2010.
Following his playing career, Gibson spent three years working as a securities broker at a financial firm in New York. Soon after, Brendan joined the United States Army to serve as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst from 2013 until 2016. During Gibson’s service time, the Point Lookout, N.Y. native was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his time with the 11th Cavalry Regiment.
After completing his service, Gibson altered his career-path towards the law where he served as a judicial intern in Central Islip, N.Y. during the summer of 2017. From there, Gibson was accepted into the St. John’s School of Law with a Dean’s scholarship, and will be eligible for his Juris Degree in 2019.
