She has the ability to add a great deal to our team with her versatility and offensive ability. Erin has been hitting well and has power to all fields. She has made a case this offseason to seriously battle for the DP spot. Defensively Erin will be looked upon to compete for a spot either in the outfield or at third base.'

Before St. John[apos]s: Two-year letterwinner at Mater Dei High School ... led team to 20 wins as a junior ... played summer league ball for the Lake Forest American Athletics ... hit 19 home runs while hitting .378 with the Americans.

Personal: Born in San Diego, Calif. ... parents are Bridget and Frank Harris ... oldest of five children ... has three brothers, Ryan (17), Nolan (12), Mark (8) and one sister, Kelsey (12) ... hopes to one day become a physical therapist or athletic trainer ... majoring in liberal studies.
