Rodgers Up Close...
Most thrilling moment of athletic career: Winning the Hall of Fame Tournament in Oklahoma. Our team lost in the first round and had to win 10 straight games to fight back, beating the same team twice in the championship. We played 36 of the 48 hours we were in Oklahoma City. After the championship we got a personal tour of the Softball Hall of Fame.
Most influential person in athletic career: My mother has always been my No. 1 fan. I look up to Kevin Garnett because he has a big heart and LOVES the game that he plays.
Favorite book: 'On The Line' by Serena Williams
Age when first started playing softball: 9
Typical pre-game ritual: I tape my wrists and write a MLB player[apos]s jersey number on my left wrist.
