Kyler Fox is in his first year as a graduate assistant in the St. John’s Athletic Communications office, serving as the primary contact for the Red Storm’s softball and fencing teams, as well as the secondary contact for the women’s basketball team. He is pursuing a master’s degree in sports management and also works as a staff writer for Brooklyn Nets on SI, where he covers all aspects of the team.
Prior to graduate school, Fox completed his undergraduate studies at St. John’s, earning a degree in journalism and graduating cum laude. As an undergraduate, he built extensive experience in sports communications, covering Division I athletics as well as professional sports. He also gained hands-on media experience as managing editor of The Torch, the university’s independent, student-run newspaper.
In addition to his student media roles, Fox has covered the Brooklyn Nets extensively, writing news, analysis, and feature stories for a national audience. He’s also contributed to A Daly Dose of Hoops, where he developed skills in digital content and reporting.
A native of Haymarket, Va., Fox is passionate about sports media and storytelling, with career interests in journalism, communications, and strategic media relations.
