After falling behind again in the fourth game, 3-0, the Storm rallied to score eight straight points to assume an 8-3 advantage. The Storm would not surrender this lead, though the Blackbirds slowly crept back into it and eventually tied the game at 9-9. SJU was able to side out on a kill by Berg and from there outscored LIU 6-1 for the victory.
Berg also totaled six total blocks in the match, leading a strong defensive effort by St. Johns, which amassed 23 total blocks on the night.
