The victory was the fourth straight for the Red Storm (11-3), who swept an opponent for the seventh time this season. The match took just under an hour to complete, as the Storm maintained a perfect 4-0 record on the road.
Senior Amanda Berg (DeKalb, Ill./DeKalb) was the only other St. John's player in double figures with 10 kills, while senior Olga Roudovski (Brooklyn, N.Y./Sheepshead Bay) added eight kills and a match-high 10 digs. With 1,197 kills in her career thus far, Roudovski is only 58 kills away from tying Kristine Knobel, '99, for the school record (1,255). She leads the team, averaging nearly 4.5 kills per game.
St. John's, currently leading the BIG EAST with an 11-3 record, will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Hanover, N.H., for the Dartmouth Classic with Maine and Quinnipiac. The Red Storm will take on the Maine Black Bears on Friday, September 22 at 8:00.
