Lewis Leads St. Johns At NCAA Regional

Leading the way for St. Johns was sophomore Tessa Woodruff (Nova Scotia, Canada), who finished 29th overall, clocking a time of 23:59.
For the men, freshman Luis Garcia (Jamaica, N.Y.) and junior Sean Tremblay (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) finished just seconds apart as Garcia placed 43rd with a time of 34:39 and Tremblay was 44th clocking a time of 34:43, respectively.
Also freshman Robert Block (Brightwaters, N.Y.), William Anderson (Holbrook, N.Y.), and James Lever (Holbrook, N.Y.) had strong races for St. Johns. Block finished 87th with a time of 36:44, Anderson placed 94th with a time of 38:06, and Lever clocked a 39:10. Sophomore J.T. Reynolds (Holbrook, N.Y.) rounded out the St. Johns runners with a time of 41:36.
The St. John's men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Saturday, November 23, competing at Van Cortland Park in the IC4A/ECAC Championships.
