Sullivan and Woodruff Pace St. Johns At IC4A/ECAC Championships

In the Mens University race, freshman Brendan Sullivan (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) continued his stellar rookie season by placing 23rd with a time of 26:46. Juniors Greg Mason (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Sean Tremblay (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) also had strong races. Mason finished in 28th place clocking a time of 27:01 and Tremblay was not far behind, finishing with a time of 27:22, which was good for 38th place.
Overall, the mens team earned themselves a sixth place finish in the 20 team event with 164 points.
In the Coaches Association race, sophomore Tessa Woodruff (Halifax, Nova Scotia) was again the top finisher for the women, placing seventh with a time of 19:50. Also freshman Shamere McKenzie (Bronx, N.Y.) posted one of her best times of the fall season clocking a 22:18, which placed her 61st.
Top finishers for the men in the Coaches Associations race were freshman Rob Block (Brightwaters, N.Y.) with a time of 29:04 and sophomore Adam Bloom (Narragansett, R.I.) who finished the course in 29:46.
